    There's around a zillion free programs that can change your MAC regardless of if its driver allows for that in its properties sheet. I hope you can use Google or any other search engine, otherwise you're doomed...

    Go to your Control Panel and select System>Advanced>Performance and activate "use common tasks" . ( For some people, depending on what they're asking, sometimes I think this should read " Use common sense")

    If this fails, read:

    I don't know all that's going on, on your computer but you may want to check out Method 3 or 4.

    If that fails, then follow these instructions that I've numbered in order:

    1.Start menu> Control Panel;
    2.. > Network>Internet Connections;
    3.. >Network Connections link.
    4.. Right-click on local area connection.
    5.. Select Disconnect from Ethernet Bridge.
    6.. Close all windows.
    The Ethernet Bridge connection might be related to you using a virtual machine on your computer.

    What do you mean 'what's the best free program??!!"...ever heard of some guy who calls himself 'Google"?
    He answers all your questions. Ask him about 'reviews' and he'll understand. See above about the 'common sense' thing I mentioned.

    Try one of the ip change scripts found on this forum. There's one called Quick IP changer.bat. Link: Ip changing .bat file link

    What I've found with this program is that, if you have OpenDNS installed, it seems to interfere ( at least it does for me. Maybe not for you), so release your network from using OpenDNS and then try the script again.

    Something else that I"ve discovered when I'm trying to change my IP is that my ISP seems to have some kind of 'hold' on changing IPs when manually requested by their users via; for example, the above named .bat file. I have no idea if this is even true or not, but I've noticed that in the past when I wanted to change my IP, it wasn't changed until about a few days to a week later. Strange, huh??

    If that doesn't work for you, then look at anon's sig. There's one there.
    If that doesn't work for you, try a proxy.
    If that doesn't work for you, try the trackers' IRC and beg forgiveness.
    If that doesn't work for you ask yourself if doing all of this is actually all that important to you. Can you make do with some other site, instead??

    I'm trying to be helpful here.

    1. Close browser.
    2. Clear cache and cookies.
    3. Check again....No go??..., then...
    4. Re-read other options provided above.
    5. Still no go??....Then...
    6. Copy this file I found to notepad (or something similiar)
    7. Re-name to .bat extension
    8. Go to Network Connections and see what kind of connection you have. Remember this.
    9. Run .bat file.

    @echo off
    echo Choose:
    echo [A] Set Static IP
    echo [B] Set DHCP
    echo.
    :choice
    SET /P C=[A,B]?
    for %%? in (A) do if /I "%C%"=="%%?" goto A
    for %%? in (B) do if /I "%C%"=="%%?" goto B
    goto choice
    :A
    @echo off
    echo "Please enter Static IP Address Information"
    echo "Static IP Address:"
    set /p IP_Addr=

    echo "Default Gateway:"
    set /p D_Gate=

    echo "Subnet Mask:"
    set /p Sub_Mask=

    echo "Setting Static IP Information"
    netsh interface ip set address "LAN" static %IP_Addr% %Sub_Mask% %D_Gate% 1
    netsh int ip show config
    pause
    goto end

    :B
    @ECHO OFF
    ECHO Resetting IP Address and Subnet Mask For DHCP
    netsh int ip set address name = "LAN" source = dhcp

    ipconfig /renew

    ECHO Here are the new settings for %computername%:
    netsh int ip show config

    pause
    goto end
    :end
    I haven't tried it myself. Though it's similar to anon's. Try his first.

    Sorry.
    My bad.
    I gave you the wrong one. I had a different one intentioned. Scrap that one. You can use the one that's listed in our beloved, holy-than-thou, most spirited, all-powerful and omniscient, most gratuitous, all glowy, and ever-and-forever-knowing moderator, anon. It's in the sig.

    This should solve all your problems and get it done with. I did mention this earlier as well in one of the posts, too.

    Also, I'm just curious. When you go to Network Connections>Right Click>Status>Support>Details. What are the lease initiation and expiration days. Are they recent and close to expiration??

    I'm asking because each time I used the first IP changing. bat file, it would change in a short while( a few days hence).
    It may or may not be same with you. Just asking.

    Quick question. I am using a modem to connect to the internet (it supports spoofing and dynamic ip on reset) So, when i visit a website, will it not see the modem's MAC instead of my NIC. If that is the case, i suppose only spoofing the modem's MAC should suffice right? (since i am behind the modem and access the internet through it)
