Leaving Demonoid apart, my first private tracker was TD which I joined in Feb 2012. And in 8 months I have gained a lot of experience in the private tracker scene and cheating thanks to sites like SBI and some others. I knew about private trackers since a long time but never joined because I knew I cannot keep a ratio because of slow speeds. But in Feb 2012 I found about SBI and RM and things have changed a lot since then. :-)

If we're counting dead trackers, then Demonoid. Shortly thereafter, I joined a very small forum-based tracker that has all but died due to its size as well as member attrition. After that, probably Empornium and TorrentBytes. As for accounts still active, 2008 is, I think, the earliest.
