Do you mean Seeding from the get go in mR/RM+ and not fake downloading anything?

Yep. Exactly. Even real cross-seeding wouldn't increase the points in such case. But I'm not sure !

Yes you're correct real cross seeding doesnt increase points and neither would fake uploading-only increase points.

I was talking about the case, for example, I downloaded the whole file using my real client, and adding the same file to RM+ and set it to seed only, and use same emulation and memory reader, while stopping it in real client. That would presumably increase points as I have downloaded the file from the tracker itself. This is only the case if I need the file, otherwise you can just fake download and then start fake uploading and that would increase points too.

Yes you're correct real cross seeding doesnt increase points and neither would fake uploading-only increase points.

Have you tried downloading (or fake downloading) a torrent from 99.99% so that the tracker gets an event=completed from you? Maybe they're checking for that in addition to left=0.

In any case, if this behavior is intentional, I can see why they may want to punish cross-seeding somewhat. It is beneficial on an individual level but harmful for the tracker as a whole; it discourages leeching and makes it harder for those that don't cross-seed to keep up.

Tracker stats: usually very accurate
RM+, best case scenario: same as tracker's, but only updated once per announce, every 30-45 minutes
RM+, worst case scenario: stats completely unavailable (0/0)

Yes thats what I was wondering, its only updated once per announce for RM+ and was thinking if thats supposed to be that way.

And, you said that a mod is a real client. Then wouldnt mods like BiglyBT/ Extreme mods have a big advantage over ratio tools, in that they can react to changes in the swarm accurately and thus make it theoretically totally undetectable, more so than RM+/ratio tools?

Big advantage yes, but I would never say "totally" undetectable. Whether you're using a mod, tool or sending announces with a telegraph, you're still cheating and that always has an element of risk. You can only minimize it.

Your apparent assumption that traffic can be "canceled out" to zero by making multiple simultaneous reports is wrong, so that won't work.

I don't think it's become uncheatable since August. If anything, the current open signups will make it easier: adding more peers to their already huge userbase means it takes less effort for you to go unnoticed.
