unfortunately, that's not the case for me :( seems TL lost me for a long time
Finally, after 5+ years, I've been banned from TL. I've been very smart and followed all the guidelines from this forum but have let my guards down recently. I downloaded a large pack with low peer ratio but forgot to reduce my fake up speed.
A heads up for everyone, Looks like BITME is linked to TL because I was banned from there at the same time despite not having any active torrents from BITME running.
So I'm now in the process of changing my IP which is proving troublesome with my ISP but I'm sure it'll work out. My question to you guys is whether I should bother trying to back to TL (obviously after changing IP) or is there a better alternative out there? I've only really used TL as it provided everything I need.
Also, what's the best way of getting an invite back to TL or equivalent tracker? Sorry I haven't had to do this for a number of years.
Last question, does TL ban IP range or individual IP address?

As far as I know TL doesn't ban ips or ip ranges, it simply disables your account, but still it's a really good idea to change ip if you intend to get invited back. An alternative to TL is IPT for example.

I remember when they used that "banned=1" cookie to block you, and colored your IP red if it was shared, but otherwise didn't do anything
They opened signups just some months ago, and might probably do it again at the end of this year. Stay tuned to our open signups thread or torrent blogs for that. Otherwise, there's the PU sections in other trackers you belong to, or sticking around and maybe getting one from this very forum (which is bigger than the cheating section).

When I cheat irresponsably I get banned within hours or maximum 1 day.
When I cheat responsably I get banned after a month or more .(no link to other tracker)
It's a piece of shit tracker and not worth asking for an invite.
I only make accounts on open signup so I can see how they react and never leech.

I wouldn't call it a shit tracker though. there are a lot out there that are far worse. So far, it's still one of my favorites. That being said, there are a lot better ones out there as well. It's a good beginners tracker in my eyes

Lately I have been liking IPT more than TL, I don't like the TL interface anymore
If you're already on IPT, don't look for TL most of the torrents are there. For both you can refer here: Giveaway Thread v2 - Page 33 . There are nemourous GA from various members be active.

While TL interface surely isn't the greatest, IPT is far from the best as well, imho.
They're both very crowded and messy :s
IPT more or less clings to the original, very readable and usable TB source layout. All the other trackers have abandoned it
