Cheating on TL (TorrentLeech)

Hello. new member i just had a question. i am using Vuze Extreme Mod by SB-Innovation 5.3.0.1 B01. previously used an out dated 5.1.0.1.

i have been reading a lot of the forum & wanted to ask is it fine/safe to just edit the azureusspoof.properties like so.

#Azureus Perfect Spoof
#By Shu
#No check are being done on what's entered !
#Enter valid version numbers otherwise you'll be detected as Unknown/Fake client
#Example :
#2.5.0.4
#3.0.2.2
#3.0.2.3_B11
#To activate it write azureus.spoof.boolean=True
#To deactivate it write azureus.spoof.boolean=False
azureus.spoof.boolean=True
azureus.spoof.value=5.3.0.0

instead of using Perfectspoof as i tried to figure it out but it seems to go over my head & i cant find client files anywhere for any up to date clients nor do i know how to make them.


i have always used this method on TL & SCC & other sites without much trouble but i was wondering if client spoofing is needed.

has anyone gotten by without being banned from doing this method?

Shu's perfect Azureus spoof remains perfect. With that said, if you need a client file for Vuze and don't know how to write them, just ask in the thread (or read the documentation to learn).

or is it better to turn on Perfect spoof in the client & use the drop down to select client file version 2.5.0.4 for eg.

is one method safer than the other? im asking because i wonder if they have bumped up security or something since the times i used to cheat by just editing the azuruesspoof.properties file. ive never got caught doing that though in the past.

The properties file will work fine. With that said, ghostfucker's spoof is better since you can pretend to be using uTorrent (or any other client) and draw way less attention to yourself.

It is just not worth the hassle , TL lost a lot of content and members and so it became more and more mundane .
They're Banning users either they've used ratio cheating tools or not (guess they've got time now the data is gone ).

it's indeed not what it once was. It's been quite a while since I've actually gotten anything from there. I might need to get my hands on IPT or something else soon :/

I got banned and I miss TL. Its has good content and clean interface. Im on IPT now but not cheating just downloading Free Torrents.

I dont like IPT interface, sorry but it sucks really hard. Also ill trying to join SCC.

Though I really doubt there's any TL staff watching this forum, I think you shouldn't have posted something very specific about your account. But besides that, try to remember how you cheated lastly? Did you overdo in any obvious torrent? Maybe stayed on the peer list too long?

You need to be careful what you post here. Staff from various trackers having different username are probably here and monitoring user posts.
