so looked into: client seems to be interesting now. as it seems it looks like utorrent.

what does disable tracker updates mean? something like u are not in snatch list?

according what google translate told me basically this is like ghostleeching right? but the "completed" flag is still sent?

@ dagon: it also uses less than 10mb of ram and 1% of cpu just like uT! :

having just started (4%) a 230mb torrent, disk write cache set to 10mb ... are there any memory optimizations in this mod?

    very good work... greatly appreciated

for all the trackers care now i'm a bittornado fan i'll use the client for all my BT downloads from now on and give you test results

For me it is working on Vista x64 SP1.
On XP x86 SP2 it also works for me, tested in VM.

actually this is needed because a lot of user that download from his page are thinking that the mods are coming from him.

    1. we never give him any permission and

    2. user should give support to the coders and not to someone that steals the mod because without coder there will be no new mods

just in case this is useful for you... i think a ghostleech announce should go like this (took the structure from uT):

    Code:
    ?info_hash=(info hash)&peer_id=(peer id)&port=(port)&uploaded=0&downloaded=0&left=(total torrent size in bytes)&key=(key)&numwant=(numwant)&compact=1&no_peer_id=1
then the client should only connect to the peers this announce has returned (numwant should be quite generous, because these are all the peers we're stuck with for the remain of the download, and what if we're getting a full dvd for example...?) and of course not announce anymore

but no pressure i know a lot of hard work has been done to get us a public beta and it is really, really appreciated.

    And thanks for your test.
    no problem

@ corecore: are you running it under admin or limited useraccounts?

    @ hitman: you're completely right.

You´re using the BitTornado on your system? faze writes his config in the same dir as bittornado.

I think that can make some probllems.

if so, corecore, you can get the DLL here

or as you have stated you're using a VM, you could just install libraryfiles there too and see if the problem persists...
