    yes, this day is coming.

But at the moment I think it would take longer to unpack a compressed movie instead of downloading the movie uncompressed.

specially if you use "download boxes" (comps without monitor that use legacy hardware but have very fast connections, which are left downloading all day and are controlled using soft like radmin or uT's web ui)

    That's true.

But I usually down- and upload with my HomePC. Only if I need more speed I use the root of my friend for leeching and seeding and then I download my stuff from there using FTP.

    so do i

i remember having semi-DL boxed a full dvd long ago using school computers which had faster connections... used a then-new 256mb mp3 player to transfer the .r00 .r01 etc partfiles, transfering 256 mb of them from school to my home every day. when i had transfered around 2.5gb, the admin deleted the folder (and it was well hidden)

    good memories

    hi..

    meine einstellungen:

    Archivformat: KGB
    Packalgorithmus: PAQ7
    Kompressions Stufe: Maximum

    fällt wem was ein?^^

a pdf... these are already somehow compressed i think; i.e. i have looked for BMP, GIF, JPEG, and PNG fileheaders in several pdfs i have and found nothing, so if they're not compressed, at least obfuscated/crypted

and here we have gta: sa in 64kB :

cool to show off with your friends in a netcafe and say "i have gta in 64kb " but mostly useless otherwise, unless you pay for a 10hrs combo and start unpacking ^^
