    Twisted Metal

    Twisted Metal TV Series 2023– TV-MA 30m

Follows a motor-mouthed outsider offered a chance at a better life, but only if he can successfully deliver a mysterious package across a post-apocalyptic wasteland.

forgot this one , Z Nation type of tv-show,without zombies
but somehow better than other tv-shows with bigger pompous budgets

I can't watch videos at the moment... does this have anything to do with the videogame series of the same name?

    looks like it
Peacock's Twisted Metal is a faithful adaptation of the video game series, managing to capture the essence of the games while adding its own unique twists. It successfully incorporates dark humor, vehicular combat, and a post-apocalyptic setting, providing a thrilling experience for fans of the franchise.9 aug. 2023
altough is not much vehicular combat in it ,more vehicular chase

I see, but I played the first four games and don't recall anything about delivering packages on a post-apocalyptic world The plot involved fighting enemies and bosses throughout multiple levels (mostly based on real-world locations) and winning all battles so that your character could have a wish granted by Calypso, the tournament organizer... who would twist it in awful ways. In TM4 he's dethroned and becomes playable.

And you could listen to the soundtrack by putting the game discs on a regular CD player

is not an accurate adaption, the plot in the tv show is around delivering a special package, a girl, from a to b with the prize for him to have a house and live in a safe zone - but from a to b the situation change

never played any games like this outside karma so i have noticed that is a game adaptation only after you have mentioned

Sadly, wokenes, ESG, yag agenda, 2030, "the current thing", "the message", will make sure this show will never be anything even remotely close the original game.

I guess there's still the possibility of being a bad adaptation but decent in its own right.

Then I suppose you don't know this one either... I liked it more than Twisted Metal, actually.

Ah, nothing like waiting until 8 PM when the phone was cheaper (but you still had to make every minute count). Now we have easy and quick access to all games but no time to play them

The House of the Dead has to be played with a pistol, using the mouse makes it too easy

    yeah 1 h to download an mp3

time and maybe the feelling, we have become desensitized to them ,they all suck now, either we got older but
you rarely feel anything when you play them now

yeah, but the graphic for that time was when I was playing it, I imagined what it would be like to be a fps so you could go where you want on the map, not just give you images

Lucky you, I had to wait until midnight for that discount, and it worked up until 6 am the other day.

I have great memories of this on Dreamcast using a pistol and playing the 2nd installment. "G's bloodstains..."

The second game was my favorite and I also played it on arcades back in the day. The only thing that doesn't hold up is the voice acting.
