Do you think BLU and Private HD are really over rated trackers?

I'm already member at various Chinese trackers like HDDolby, BT School, HDArea, etc which have lot of activity and content. Recently i had got in to Blutopia and Private HD with high hopes. But to me it feel like both trackers are having so much hype compared to even the medium Chinese trackers. Do you feel like these trackers are good compared to medium chinese trackers?

If you can get what you want from BLU without having to maintain accounts on several Chinese trackers and fulfill their corresponding activity requirements, that sounds worthwhile to me... plus, they have their own release groups (though nothing really stays internal for long).

This is correct, but for me chinese trackers have more activity in terms of seeders and leechers. May be iam afan of Nexus PHP which made me think so.

HD trackers are overrated in general. From content perspective they are almost all the same and most General trackers are even better. However, retention wise, PHD users are doing good seeding older stuff with the time. Same with BLU but with less users and slower in time.

Yep, exactly my point, and it's general one. Same for most general well known ones like TL, IPT, TD and even PTM has better seeded stuff than HD trackers. However the amount of HD trackers is larger than generals and most are active so you would find also many have good old seeds like top 5 Chinese trackers whatever they are (mTeam, HDArea..etc.), HD-Torrents, PHD, BeyondHD, Russian trackers (bluebird-hd !) and Vietnamese (3changtrai & NetHD away from UHDBits with its low user stats). So you can imagine if these were combined by content and users, you would get one IPT for HD stuff only

But my expectation was higher with the hype seen from various reddit discussions, so fairly disappointed.

I personally think they are great trackers, can find mostly everything you search for, tons of full blu rays.
