They are traders, but they hate cheaters. Don't tell them you are from SBI.
Open signups, invite applications, giveaways, RED interview, recruitment threads (roughly on that order). There's also trading and buying, but I advice against taking that route.

Not sure. maybe as elegant decent traders they think cheaters are bad members of tracker world?
surprise, everyone hates us, we are the bad guys.
The thing is someone invites you to a tracker they are responsible for you. You cheat and get caught they might lose their account too.
We cheat, they trade and sell and sometimes hack accounts and scam too.

Neither side can claim the moral high ground, but in any case, my advice from post #6 still stands. Some people even stick to recruitment threads exclusively, to eliminate the possibility of ever getting tree-banned because their inviter was dodgy (which speaks volumes of how tracker staff determine and deal with guilt, but that's a different matter).

Some trackers open sign-ups for a short period of time to the public. If you do not have access to any private trackers this is the easiest way to get started - r/OpenSignups
