    What are your favorite videogames?

The title says it all. List your favorite videogames of all time (if you have any) on any gaming platforms.

Also, yesterday night I played a visual novel/RPG hybrid called Yanderella which taught me a valuable life lesson: if you visit an arcade with your two female childhood friends and win a plushie in a crane game... don't give it to either of them.

No way! Were my posts in the random image thread a giveaway Anyway, you are correct, I got into the genre last year two years ago and quickly became hooked up. I don't really have the patience for "normal" games nowadays...

By the way, I highly recommend Katawa Shoujo, even to those who would never play something like this. While somewhat nontraditional in its premise and art style (and lack of voice acting), the writing is excellent.

A USSR-themed visual novel? I'd never heard of something like that before, but that's a good thing! It proves that the medium doesn't have to be Japan-centric and any sort of story may be told.

On the other side, VNDB says it features Hatsune Miku as a heroine, so I may have to withdraw part of the above statement

Nice thread. Here are my favs:

    - A very old Conan game I used to play in B&W (just googled it and it's called Conan: Hall of Volta)
    - Karateka
    - Prince of Persia
    - Out of this World (in europe called Another World) I used to nag my father weekly to take me to his work to play this game since it required the very expensive VGA monitor back in the day, and it was B&W
    - BlackThorne
    - FlashBack (never got to play the sequence Fade to Black)
    - A lot of Street Fighters and King of Fighters / Fatal Fury / Art of Fighting
    - Capcom vs SNK 2
    - Super Mario World
    - Castlevania games up until Curse of Darkness on PS2 excluding the ones on N64
    - Onimusha games
    - Splinter Cell games
    - Resident Evil games
    - Tomb Raider games
    - Donkey Kong Country on SNES 1, 2 and 3
    - Battlefield 3 and 4 (Never really liked the Battlefield games up until I watched my brother playing BF3, it was love at first sight)
    - Quake 1
    - Assassin's Creed games (love them up to Revelations, the next ones I just liked)

There might be more, but these are the ones I spent a lot of time in.

Also, my lawyer adviced me to post that Nintendo ordered developers to remove vowels and some consonants from password screens, after the discovery of the hidden password "FUCKK YOUUU OKKKK JUANN CARLO" in the original Metal Gear, which teleported you to the final boss battle with some weapons.
