    qBittorrent 4.1.2

As of version 4.0.4, this client uses an individual peer_id, so it's okay to run both BiglyBT Extreme Mod and qBittorrent at the same time (but note both programs cannot share the same listen port).

These clients emulate the following settings, so make sure your real qBittorrent 4.1.2 also uses them:
    • Encryption mode: "Prefer encryption" for 4.1.2 [Supports Encryption].client, "Disable encryption" for 4.1.2 [No support of Encryption].client
    • Listen on IPv6 address: "No" for both
    Attached Files Attached Files

Off topic, is it worth to upgrade qb itself to 4.1.2 now from 3.3.16?

Well, I haven't heard about any regressions, so I suppose the usual policy applies: if all of your trackers have whitelisted the new version, go for it.

I just tested the latest update but one thing isn't exactly working, global and alternate rate limits aren't working. Tried with different ul/dl speeds, if that even matters, still no luck. Can you test it out if you have 4.1.2 installed?

I only installed 4.1.2 to create and verify this client file and then removed it, but I'll reinstall and try it out. I found no mention about this bug on their GitHub, by the way.

It was present in 4.1.1 and that issue has circulated on Reddit. Never checked GitHub but oh well, I guess I'll stick with 3.3.16 for the time being.

I can reproduce the bug. Setting the speed limit (either global or individual) to 300 KB/s makes it jump between 250 and 500. Setting it to 10 makes torrents drop dead. uTorrent's been like that since 3.0 and no one seems to care, but if enough people complain, history may not repeat itself here.
