How to monitor an msi installation?

Hello guys. I have an issue at work and I would really need your input.

I have a Windows 2008 server, and it uses roaming profiles and citrix. For some reason, all msi type installations go bad. I can install them, but afterwards they cannot be uninstalled. The required files in appdata and localappdata just dissapear. They are there during and after the installation but are gone on first reboot. I suspect this is coming from roaming profiles and/or citrix but can't prove it.

I have tried these installers on my test setup at home, tried with 2008 and 2012 server and they work fine. Installed/uninstalled them 3 or 4 times in a row, multiple reboots and are fine.

I would appreciate any sggestion you give me. So far I'm think that If I can re-create all the missing files and registry keys then the uninstaller could work again. But i haven't been abe to find a good monitoring program for both filesystem and registry.

    What do you think?

Uninstall tool or Revo Uninstaller are doing their work just fine.

Sandboxie + SandboxDiff if your program isn't one of those that refuses to work inside a sandbox. Or maybe Thinstall inside a clean virtual machine to generate a log.
