I have no idea, but we've had a mobile style since 2010 if that helps

Yeah, I get it, but Tapatalk is lightweight and much simplier to use than mobile version of the site, would be nice

Isn't Tapatalk works on any VB forum by default ? I have no idea how it works since I never tried it, just asking based on what I heard in the past.

I thought so too, but turned out you can't add custom forum or anything, you have to use built-in search engine to find the desired forum.
