i love the illusion of choice - good that i've read this about dog food / cat food - i've bought once purina - good also that i live over european continent - overhere we have mostly german supermarkets monopoly - lidl - penny wich pretends to make their own food for cat or dogs (beside the imported brands) from the leftovers meat expired - by the way - overhere they don't throw nothing - besides the painted pesticidal waxed fruits and vegetables - they recall back to the "factory" even the cartons and plastic packaging

also considering the monopoly the agenda 21 makes sense
