It's exactly the same it's always been, but here's a consolation prize.

Well, I just found that the original image has a bird in it, go figure.

The MS-DOS and Windows NT OSes are impossible to acquire, which is why I do not have them.

@lil-fela and everyone else that will in the future make iso images from original discs:
Most image editors when creating an image padd 00 bytes at the end of the iso. This is called overdumping.
Only UltraISO has an option to disable this behavior. The setting is called ""Enable ISO Filter" and it should be always enabled (set to ON).

Use only UltraISO, and only use it on Windows (no wine emulation, no linux).

Does it has any SP included? If so, which one? I have SP0 and SP4. Also, the disk isn't scratched or anything, right?

@anon, doo you remember where did you extract those NT games from? Which edition? Because we may need to do that again, but this time from an original source.

It was from a gold (no service packs) version of Windows NT 4.0 Workstation, which I also used to make this famous screenshot.

I have since deleted all ISOs I had that were not verifiably genuine, including that one. It's very unlikely that there'd be any difference in the games' files, though.

Yes, well I'm working on it. There are many more images of Win 95, 98 2000, ME, NT and MS-DOS and I plan to get all of them.
What you have right now is about 50% of the entire microsoft base (50% of every OS listed, they are not complete). And when that NT will be available, we need those games extracted as well as some other apps. Everything on the web is fake, so don't even try to find them on google.

I'm so mad with Windows 10 latest update (july 1803 update), as it broke file sharing in windows PCs. They removed HomeGroup feature (still in menus but will be gone soon) but I never used that. I only used the old "share this folder" in folder's property box and all the other configs that go along. Now there are some fixes here and there I found googling but it tends to work only by chance. On another forum I also read a person who uses that "Insider program" was using a hotfix update and thing were back to normal, so now I'm anxious waiting for that. Does anyone know if there is any application that makes file sharing easier in windows?

Yes, even though the insider program is meant to prevent this sort of thing from happening, it looks like Microsoft has moved to the "end users as free betatesters" model that was already prevalent with videogame companies. I would recommend everyone to turn automatic updates off and read the news bef- wait, you can't turn Windows Update off anymore! And the service reenables itself if disabled! And you can't block it via hosts file either because Windows now ignores that for "important" hosts! Some people in Redmond should have their ears pulled over this...

By the way, I think anyone can join the insiders. I did it to get Windows 10 and test it in a VM back when it hadn't been released yet and never bothered with it again, but keep getting their e-mails

Can't help much there. One of the first things I do when I reformat a computer for personal use is turning off all built-in Windows networking and resource sharing to reduce the system's attack surface (how many SMB vulnerabilities have been found already?). I prefer FTP, which is easier to configure and secure, and can be completely turned off by just stopping the service (you can't mount an FTP server as a network share with a drive letter though, at least not without additional software). Of course, that measure is a no-go if you need to share printers without buying a printing server, or simply want convenience...
