Thread: qBittorrent 3.3.12

    qBittorrent 3.3.12

The client uses global peer id so use memory reader (mR don't support memory reader for qbittorrent then don't run both at the same time)
The client send IPv6 so be sure your real qBittorrent 3.3.12 do .

    Very important :
After changing the emulation for your torrents be sure to close mR and open again .
    Attached Files Attached Files

You have to check your announce. You will see something like this

    ipv6=2400:0:9d38:6ab8:8fa:2db3:c4a6:3000

Look in the advanced settings, it's among the first entries.

    Hello mmmmm

You told me before that mine doesn't send IPV6,
    that was for qBittorrent 3.3.10
So I can't use this one or I can ?

I followed your tutorial (SmartSniff) for the new version
and I searched but didn't find IPV6 or IPV4 in the announce.

    Thanks.

So even though mine doesn't send IPV6,
I can safely use this client/emulation.

    Thanks mmmmm :)

    Edit:

qBittorrent setting "Listen on IPv6 address" is unchecked,
Should I leave it unchecked or should I check/enable it ?

    Thanks.

qBittorrent v3.2.0 releases upwards allow the OS to choose IPv4/IPv6 connecton.

So you should set your Interface as default OS and then monitor the network out of your torrent client. Then you can concluded whether or not you are reporting IPv6 to the tracker.

The "Listen on Ipv6" option from the advanced settings in qBittorrent has been a bug from quite an early stage (version release). Here are some links which show reports of them.

    https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/issues/2165
    https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/issues/2683
    https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/issues/1200
    https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/issues/4545

You can get a whole bunch of them on Github. Follow this link: https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBitt...utf8=%E2%9C%93

Now you can use the process I mentioned to check wether or not (your reporting IPv6 address to the tracker).

    How to sniff the network?
    Follow this tutorial: http://www.sb-innovation.de/showthre...threadid=32021

For a deeper analysis you can use Wireshark wherein you can search for you IPv6 address in all the captured packages!
