    I really did like the old version of 1982. I had high expectations and thought the new Blade Runner 2049 would be the same or even better. But actually I got really disappointed. I wouldn't recommend the new one. Instead I always would recommend and like to watch the Blade Runner 1982 again.

    Well, I finally did and I'm afraid slikrapid's summary is accurate. Too many logic mistakes and loose ends... on a movie lasting two hours and a half, no less. The scenography and atmosphere are still top-notch, particularly in the city (futuristic advertising ) and the desert outside Deckard's home, but we don't see much of that compared to the original.
