    Good open trackers for MR

    Hello,

In order to use the memory reader, I need to have a torrent client with at least one torrent running. At the moment, I am using uTorrent with a blank torrent that has a list of open trackers:
    Code:
    udp://tracker.openbittorrent.com:80
    udp://tracker.publicbt.com:80
    udp://tracker.istole.it:80
    udp://tracker.btzoo.eu:80/announce
    http://opensharing.org:2710/announce
    udp://open.demonii.com:1337/announce
    http://announce.torrentsmd.com:8080/announce.php
    http://announce.torrentsmd.com:6969/announce
    http://bt.careland.com.cn:6969/announce
    http://i.bandito.org/announce
    http://bttrack.9you.com/announce
    udp://trackr.sytes.net:80
    udp://tracker.opentrackr.org:1337/announce
Most of the trackers on the list are invalid.
Would memory reader work correctly if I will use a local torrent, without a tracker?
And if not, could you recommend a good open tracker that I can use for this?

    Thank you

You can use the dummy torrent that Rm+ 2.0 creates after starting it you will have PeerId/Key.

    [Edit]
After reading the post I didn't understand anything , Look
Remote memory reader creates a dummy torrent by which the new remote MR catches data. you can use it.

The Ubuntu x86 desktop torrent works wonders for this (and to get DHT nodes). Just deselect the ISO when adding it, and you won't download anything. Then you can keep it in your client and start it whenever necessary.

    Good idea, thanks for that.
But what about creating a torrent using localhost? Like say:
    Code:
    http://localhost:55641/announce
Wouldn't it work just as well?

Eh, that's a good question. I don't know if the announce needs to receive some response for memory reading to work well (I assuming you don't have anything running on port 55641 of your localhost).

No anon there is no need for response, torrent clients generate announce data before sending and that's what MR catches.
If local host wouldn't work for you try 127.0.0.1 it should work
