      RMP 2.0:
      - New: First release.


      Background:
      The original RatioMaster was created by a person with the same name for a site called Moofdev, and shortly became one of the most popular and well-known ratio cheating programs. New versions were released semi-regularly until 2011, when the moofdev.net forums ceased to function. Despite the resulting lack of updates, a loyal userbase stuck to it due to its effectivity and ease of use.

      On 2014, Lucius released a patched executable for version 1.9.2 Beta that fixed automatic client updating, as well as some known bugs. Reception was so positive, work continued into fixing further bugs as well as adding new features, eventually deriving into a full-fledged fork called RatioMaster Plus.

      As of version 2.0, RatioMaster Plus is a completely new program and not based on any previous code. However, it retains its name and icon as an homage to all the work spent on the project it would eventually succeed.

    Guys, whats up? Question... This happened to me a couple of times, using this version (2.0.1) and emulating either qbitorrent or utorrent. I used WM until I had 90-99% of the torrent, then I stopped it, changed the speeds like WM suggests, and then started the torrent... let it finish by downloading at a low speed... what it caused was to report as downloaded, 2 times(almost) the torrent size, that 90-99% + the whole torrent size again.

    When I stoped it, I made sure the percentage stayed at such %, then started it again. Is there a possibility that the program takes it as if I was downloading it from scratch again?

    Happened on non gazelle sites as far as I remember, x264 and bitmetv, I didnt check on gazelle ones honestly. Anyone ever? Would you need a couple of screens, logs maybe? Thanks.

    The downloaded amount that gets reported to the tracker is counted from the beginning of a torrent's session. It should be reset to zero after stopping and restarting, but perhaps RM+ isn't doing it due to a bug. I haven't checked this, but that would cause such a behavior.

    The upload amount get reset when you press stop and obviously between sessions.
    But, There is a bug that happened as following:

    If you started a torrent with non-zero upload speed then the session upload amount increased then you changed the upload speed to 0 then all the following announces will have this upload amount until you stop the torrent.
    I currently studying the problem.

    So, Don't change the speeds to 0 at the middle, only at the beginning before starting the torrent.
    mRatio has the same bug, I just checked it.

    I don't know about WM but you can now understand what went wrong if this bug is related in any way.
