I remember that mRatio works under mono nicely. VEM also runs natively.

if you don't wanna use wine then you could use the vuze mod.

Serenity also works well under Wine (see http://www.sb-innovation.de/showthread.php?p=257878 and the three answers that follow), so it seems all of the major programs can run on Linux.

Personally, I want to run VEM on a OpenWrt router one day just to see if it's possible, although I wouldn't expect much usability.

    You have many non-native options.
Right now I am writing the new version of ratio master with portability in mind so I can port it natively to linux and mac but of course those are two big projects which I will work on it on the long run.
RatioMaster also runs under wine and mono.

Don't forget to tell us about your experience and what got well for you.

The error is pointed out "Microsoft.VisualBasic" could not be found or assembled. Try using an updated version or manually update it!

    Hi oscarxp.

I had this exact problem so i made my own ratio tool in both C and Java so it works on any operating system. including linux !

Its called JRatioBoost. heres a link to the Java version all you need is the .jar file. enjoy.
