Just finished S02E02. I won't give (nor do I want) spoilers, so let's say things are getting very tense. I find myself hating T-Bag or that Secret Service guy every time they show up, which means their acting is great.

This series is amazing! I was very happy when they announced a 5th season. I remember the second season suffered from that 'script writer's strike' and was made shorter than other seasons, this strike also affected other shows like Lost at the time. Anyway, I highly recommend it!

I think you mean the third season, it has 13 episodes compared to the usual 21-22.

Anyway, I'm halfway through watching it and the level is indeed not on par with the first two, but the writers guild strike would justify that somewhat. I'll post my overall impression once I finish it.

Remember the $5 million they'd spend most of season 2 trying to get? They're promptly forgotten forever. Furthermore, Lincoln kept saying he didn't have any money, but how was he paying for his hotel and food

Sara's actress obviously wasn't available for filming, as they only show a photograph and silhouette of her before her head rolls off. Thank goodness it was all a fake, she and Michael make such a cute couple together

What became of the whole President Reynolds conspiracy? It's barely mentioned at all. Same with Westmoreland's daughter, although she had two weeks to live "at most" when the team broke out of Fox River, so I guess Michael just couldn't make it fast enough.

On to S04E03 now

Finished the season 4 finale yesterday. I'd like to say that Razor is right, and season 5 had better offer some really good reason as to why it can exist at all after the events, otherwise it's going to feel like a cheap trick.

Great ending, and that's why I said they'd better have a good explanation as to why the new season essentially ignores it.
