    Question Outlook.com question

I have two accounts on Outlook.com, for personal and work use. I logged in to the latter yesterday and the interface was different, whiter with rearranged toolbars and stuff. My personal one is unaffected by this. Is this happening to anyone else, and can it be undone? The change seems to be tied to the actual account, as changing browsers and User-Agents doesn't make any difference. Even saying I'm using a Nokia Series 40 phone throws me on a "basic" version of the new interface, which looks like MS Outlook 2007.

IIRC they roll out changes gradually instead of updating it for everyone at the same time

I'm among the chosen people, waaaah

For anyone reading this thread in 2025, this was the interface I used 98% of the time.

It could do all I needed e-mail for (displaying and sending plaintext messages) and I'll miss it.

Indeed, and it currently looks like this (except it says just "Outlook" in the titlebar and top left corner).

My non-work account still has the old design, though I'd expect it to eventually change in light of what you said before.

This was the best design ever

And my older account still has a California postal code registered on it, from back when that gave you additional storage space!

How to Reinstate Windows Mail in Windows 7

This is glitchy (don't enable offline mode...), but also works.

My non-work account was just updated to the new interface too. Well, at least you can add attachments on this one...

I know, in a few weeks I won't remember what the old interface looked like.

Man I would so give anything to be back in the era of 50MB inbox mail accounts. Those were the days.
