The intelligence of Windows software devs.

Went to download a Chromium extension.
I just had to be presented with this......

Look to see what system this software is designed for....

You might want to look towards the bottom of this second screenshot. The white space.

Actually that's the intelligence of the guys who made the ad. Also, I remember when I was using linux that I had wine installed and when I had a .exe file it would automatically select to open it with wine. I doubt that's what they though of when they showed the ad.
What does a scene tracker tell to a general tracker?

The bigger the download button, the higher the chances it's fake. This just proves it

that's default action because Linux doesn't use .exe. The opposite of an .exe file in Linux/ GNU is a .sh file; however, that is executed via terminal in most instances. You see, Wine is aware of Windows using .exe files for executing software programs and hence it is inherently built in to Wine for application purposes ( you might know this already though, but in case you weren't aware, just mentioning it though).

Oh, and yes. Your correct about it being more relevant to the knowledge-base of the guys who made the ad. Not the actual Windows soft devs. My bad.

@anon. Definitly it's fake with the size of download button. I guess one could say that size equates to the degree of fakery. LOL, eh?
