I'm using FF 34.0 and I've installed Self-Destructing Cookies. For some odd reason, it removes it's sync account (logs out) after every firefox restart.
It is also strange because it wants to update in keepass KeePassHttp Passwords\firefoxaccounts entry.

It's not that odd, seeing as the sync is linked to a cookie.
Don't destroy cookies from the accounts.firefox.com domain.

It works so far but I don't get it. I tried that before and it didn't work but now it does.
    I have whitelisted:
    firefox.com
    accounts.firefox.com
Maybe firefox.com is needed as well?

    Ok... new issue:
Firefox now remembers the sync account but as soon as I start keepass it disconnects the account.
Firefox uses PassIFox and keePassHttp in keePass. And whenever I login to the sync account keepass asks me to update KeePassHttp Passwords\firefoxaccounts entry.
Every login, different key and needs this updated.

I'm using keepass on my usb stick. Is there any way for it to recognize the web page without installing addons (firefox, chrome)?

Code would have to be injected either way. I think I'd prefer the safer way of "injecting" code by just installing the plugin. How else would it know what you're looking at? I can only start to imagine how insecure that would be :(

What about a portable browser? Something that supports keepass and runs entirely off a USB memory?

KeeCloud - for those that use it - is dead and also causes the error:

An exception occurred during a WebClient request.
This property is not implemented by this class.
A guy forked the original project and managed to fix it, this is the link https://bitbucket.org/Catscratch29/keecloud

That's not very trustworthy. He has overwritten the UpdateURL with his own. At best, I'd fork and fix it on my own.
