Long story short: I was already a member on some private trackers and knew the basics of cheating, but wanted to see if there were better programs. Google led me to this forum, although indirectly through a different search result that linked here (DigitalDJ's homepage?), which is why I picked something else where the registration form asked "how did you find us?".

If I remember right, there was a forum before SB-I? Wasn't there @anon?

00de.de. I wasn't a member but I used to get ipfilter.dat updates from there (Opera says it was bookmarked on April 22nd, 2007). In fact, since the homepage was a blog with filesharing articles, I didn't even know there was a forum until I joined here and the site founders - most of whom were staff and active at the time - gave me a few history lessons

As you can see from previous posts it was more of a polyamory thing.

I just noticed on my gmail account, I have 8gb used space. I have 1.5k emails. Is it possible to see what's using so much space?

    Gmail has amazing search filters.

For instance, size:5MB will find all Gmail messages that are 5 MB or greater in size. There's also has:attachment and filename:ext .

    E.g.size:10mb has:attachment filename:pdf

In addition to size, you can use search operators like larger, larger_than, smaller and smaller_than to find files of any particular size.

    larger_than:5m smaller_than:8M

Not sure, but you could do multiple searches, e.g. 100MB, 50MB, etc...

I figured it out. Trash had 11k emails. Not sure why it didn't delete them, when it says above "emails older than 30 days will delete automatically"??

Apparently it's a known issue and they're working on it. It definitely used to work.

If messages in the trash can didn't count towards the storage quota, this bug would be a dream come true for some (including the NSA, fufu).

Semi-related: if you want to (attempt to) recover messages that have been deleted from the trash, you can follow the following link. Success rates vary wildly.
