When using the android's storage (internal or sdcard) is there a way to assign a drive letter to the unit?
it's hip to be square
Only for SD cards that haven't been formatted as additional "internal" storage and if your device supports MSM mode (a rarity on stock firmware these days).
MTP exists because none of the file systems we're familiar with was designed for concurrent access. If you've ever used a PocketPC you may remember Wm5torage, which solved this problem by mounting storage as read-only on the device and read/write on a computer (or the other way around). I don't know if there's something like that for Android; if there is, it would definitely require rooting.

Don't believe everything you see

I bought something, and in package was about 1m long UTP cable. It was completely in blue color. Because I need longer cable, does it need to be in blue color as well or does that not matter?
Color has no relevance other than aesthetics and allowing easy cable identification. Category is more important and you will find it written on the cable itself. In all likelihood it's CAT5e, because that can do both Fast and gigabit Ethernet and is cheaper.

Thank you, didn't know that.
I have two HDMI ports on my monitor, both taken. Is there somekind of extension or something that I can plugin another HDMI cable?
Or, what kind of cable do I need for VGA port?
I'm guessing a vga cable?
as for hdmi, you can get a channel switcher.
lol, it's actually called that, vga cable
keep in mind that displayport rocks, can be daisy chained and converted to hdmi easily
If by any chance your monitor has a spare DVI port, the video signal on that is compatible, so you can use a cable that has a DVI connector on the monitor's side and HDMI on the other.
Otherwise, there's HDMI hubs/splitters.
Otherwise², if you have VGA ports on both sides of the connection, just use that directly. And if you have VGA on the monitor but not whatever you want to plug it to, you can use an adapter, but they suck and usually require an additional power supply for high resolutions.
Options listed in order of desirability.
Technically a D-Sub 15 cable

I have 2 HDMI and 1 VGA port. It's an old monitor, like ~10 years!
Well, that's pretty good. My 2005 Sony has one DVI-D and two VGA.
