That is exactly what I can't do on Linux. I've tried 3 zip/rar softwares. Process on how [Extract first 001 file with extract here and the rest follows as seen in windows] This then turn the split archives into a single archives which one must extract the data from. I've reached up to here, however, when I try extracting data from the combined archive the archiver tells me I'm missing some files!

If you need to cross-seed, perhaps rar2fs could help. (Under Windows, there's WinMount and RARFileSource which basically make "rared or not rared" a non-issue.)

Cross-seeding was popular back in the day when people had a very low bandwidth speed. Some scene releasing sites still use this format to prevent people from leeching their shit and posting it on public indexing sites cause the process is too long and time-consuming. Also thanks for the tips but I'm only looking for a tutorial perhaps where one shows you how to repack archived files from a split archive aka archiving using the old spilt process.

(note that the first part is the .rar file, not .r00), so I don't see why 7-Zip or Archive Manager can't.

Yes it is.rar file at first. The zip/rar managers can get it done however, when extracting from the joined rar file I get "files are missing" error! Let me make a detailed description of the problem and I'll further explain to you!

Everything looks fine there. As a last resort, you can add this to your Chrome command line to forcibly enable all GPU acceleration features and disable all driver workarounds.

--ignore-gpu-blacklist --skip-gpu-data-loading --enable-native-gpu-memory-buffers --enable-gpu-rasterization --enable-zero-copy --num-raster-threads=2

Then go to YouTube, Twitch or whatever, play a video, open chrome://media-internals/ and check the details for that page. It should say that the GpuVideoDecoder is in use. If 1080p streaming is still slow, the hardware simply isn't good enough, confirmed.

I will try that, but after doing some google search, I found out that it's a bug from AMD cards.

Can you upload a copy of the smallest offending torrent you've got? I want to have a look at this but I'm not in the two trackers you mentioned.

Thanks, I grabbed it and fired up a Lubuntu 16.04 virtual machine to test. Neither Archive Manager nor unrar can extract the archive, although in my case the error is different - they complain there there is no free space left after reaching part 14.

What about using WinRAR under Wine

I don't know why the installer doesn't run for the Windows version on Wine. Neither does Winrar for linux run even after I'm rebuild the entire tool from the source code. Perhaps I'm missing some dependencies
Why don't the developers of a software, provide a detailed requirement for a software? It would make things a whole lot better! I currently repack the split archives through a Windows XP Virtual Box. Don't laugh about me still using XP cause honestly it consumes a lot less resources compared to other operating systems. Anyways, thanks for giving it a try!

cloud99, give me a ls of the directory containing the multipart archive, those extensions don't seem right and probably aren't meant to be right
p7zip and unrar? should work out of the box with these on GNU + LUNIX, but I think you need some command line fuckery

Thank you this seem to have worked. However instead of using the option of "Extract here" I open the first compressed file and choose the option "Extract without confirmation". This seems to have worked.

So the solution to extracting archives under Linux was using a Windows program. Let us reflect on that for a moment
