I played it in the PSX. Never really got anywhere, but what I did see was scary. There was this part early on where you pass close to a guy looking at a corpse on the floor, and he seems to be friendly - then he turns around, bites you, and loud suspense music begins to play...

I remember I was a kid, and I had a higher fever, so I asked my dad if he would buy this game for me (saw it a few days earlier). So he went to store and bought it. I was healed instantly!

hellman, what networking config do you have? What type of connection? Do you use a router?
Off the top of my head, I would suggest checking Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections\Local Area Connection. Right click and select Status. What speed is listed?

If it was working fine yesterday and you changed nothing, it could just be a problem on the provider's side. I assume you already tried turning the modem (and router if applicable) off and back on.
