Does anyone know how to unrar automatically on qBittorrent after download completes? I tried a bunch of commands from reddit but none of them seem to work. I am on 4.2.5 and on windows. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

If you just paste something you read on a tutorial, it may not do things the way you want, or even work at all. Get acquainted with how 7z (terminal version of 7-Zip) or unrar (WinRAR) work, build your command line, then replace the parameters with the corresponding placeholders qBittorrent offers and set the result to run when your torrents finish.

Terminal applications are very powerful. With this same method, you could also unpack files across a network, pipe them directly to a media player, do any post-processing on the fly...

Sorry if that's not the answer you wanted, but giving a fish vs. teaching how to fish, etc.; I guess I can also recommend WinMount or rarfs.

Today was a good day, I ventured into the 3D world to pay my bills and ended up returning a wallet full of cash as well as finding a working Motorola Surfboard modem.

Thank you, but think of all the wallets that won't get returned because I'm a responsible citizen and (usually) stay home like the Illuminati asked us to

The modem joins another two that were already collecting dust in my hardware storage cupboard. All they need is a reflash, and a valid MAC plus certificate...

the solution is to increase the morality of the society - in a highly moral society, practically every wallet would be returned, with practically no attempts to steal or take another person's property

and who teaches morality in a society? the religions do, for example:

they didn't ask, it was ordered (via crisis management teams controlling the situation in a country) and fines were introduced as punishment for disobedience

the result: a crippled economy and more unnecessary suffering - so much for supposedly illuminated fools running the show behind the scenes

People are stupid and don't follow common sense. It became orders only after kindly pleading to use your brains first. We've successfully proven the masses don't have brains and thus it became orders. Prove me wrong.

its not really stupidity (as in: inability to understand), its an overall lack of truthful information (corrupt science), a heavy dose of fake news and propaganda (corrupt media), gullibility (mainstream 'experts' said so), greed (corrupt government and industry), lacking morality (society in general), etc.

common sense depends on the system of values and on available information: in a corrupt society the common sense is to act in corrupt ways; if the available information is false, the common sense is to act according to such available information

We've successfully proven the masses don't have brains and thus it became orders.
its not about brains (every human has one, most of them work adequately or sufficiently), its about a conflict of interests: people want to act freely, yet the crisis management teams had different ideas

also, most of the people (the masses if you like) were actually following both recommendations and orders, only a minority did not

since this corona crisis is a deception prepared in advance, the course of action was already decided upon regardless whether the masses follow or not (simulations were run literally weeks prior to the actual crisis and measures to be taken were discussed there, sponsored by the usual suspects, see Event 201 Pandemic Exercise)

I agree with this and the measures themselves, but at the same time, I see slikrapid's point. This sets a sort of dangerous precedent. If governments want to actively control people, they aren't going to do it like in "1984", where there were obviously totalitarian and evil measures in place and everyone was too afraid to do anything. It's much easier if the reasons are (or appear to be) legitimate and people actually want to cooperate.

In any case, I miss being able to go for a walk just because and not having to cover my mouth with a rag in the process, but it is what it is
