Damn, mate, I'm very sorry to hear that. And I know this probably won't make you feel better, but at least you were able to enjoy your time together while she was around. Only grandparent I ever had was my grandmother on my mother's side, and she was held together by a cocktail of pills, barely able to speak.

Sorry for your loss, yoco. My grandmother, from my mother's side, passed away when I was just 2 years old. Sadly, I don't remember anything of her.
Never forget that she'll always be there for you, in spirit. And as long as you remember her she will never die.

Well, I drink 0.0 a year, so to me you're both in the wrong

The good news is that you aren't, and we can still be friends

In other news, my country's economy is going to hell, with an exceptional blow taken today... but hey, let's keep voting for these guys.

Yeh, I used to be that way until I met an enabling best friend 2 years ago
    She's pretty awesome though.

Oh, I bet. Personally, I think lesbianism is a beautiful thing.
Still, I do agree that nothing can beat the real thing, should you get my drift.

going from no alcohol to some alcohol is a degradation in quality of life (intoxication) - now, if you were the one able to convince your friend to abandon alcohol, that could be called awesome

unfortunately for them, an increase in such deviations of human relationships are a sign of rising corruption in the society
simple proof: lesbian or gay couples cannot normally produce offspring, meaning human species goes extinct in only one generation of a completely homosexual society (unless they cheat in some way hehe) - analogies can be made for many other species

Still, I do agree that nothing can beat the real thing,
the real thing is effortless and continuously fulfilling (bliss), unlike any kind of enjoyment in the materialistic world

Well, I... it is plastic after all. Unless you bought a crystal one of 1,000 bucks.
I'm really curious though, in a lesbian relationship, which one of you is the actual man - the one that makes decisions, and is the general head of the family?

What if there are people screwing a plastic fork (it's been known to happen) due to lack of money for plastic dicks?

There are no good choices in Latin America, only lesser evils. The party previously in power had many flaws (including several corruption scandals, handing out subsidies and welfare money like candy, transparent attempts at remaining in power and their perceived immunity to criticism), but the average citizen was fairly fine, and the country wasn't balls-deep in debt with the IMF.

To this day I have no idea how Macri won, anyone with half a brain could see what he was going to do and whose interests he would defend. The power of good advertising campaigning, friends in powerful media and the punishment vote/"I want to believe" effect I guess. But I repeat, the other choices aren't exactly better, just less bad. At least if you don't count the smaller parties which actually have some decent proposals, but don't get more than 3% of the votes...
