Hi there,

i just want to rebound on the previous proposal. I must admit that me also i'm looking for the autostart seedings feature. I understand perfectly the system about the memory reader. BUT the memory reader is only pertinent when you are running a torrent "localy" before to start mratio.

For example: by my side i'm using a seedbox to manage my torrents. When i'm downloading something by my seedbox, mratio's memory reader can NOT find some infos about the peer:id and the key (at the opposite, if i'm running a torrent localy on my computer, so yes now, mratio's memory reader can find some values).

So that's why, for the case of a seedbox, the autostart can be usefull for the mratio's users.
In hoping that our dev could hear me and add that feature which will be managed according to the users.

Also, if i could request a little bonus: the autostart feature could be great in couple with a start minimized feature.

When I saw mono support was added, I was really hopeful this might finally run on linux.
First attempt wasn't successful:

~$ mono mRatio.exe
The entry point method could not be loaded

But after some searching, I found the solution:

~$ sudo apt-get install mono-vbnc

It now runs, but there's still some functionality missing:

• Adding torrents is only possible by choosing the folder option, with other options you can't see any files;
• Still in the Add Wizard, if you remove some torrents, it sometimes triggers a crash (check debug output below);
• Memory reader functionality is absent;

I'm happy with the result, and it's enough for my needs.
However, in case the developer decides to have a look at these issues, I've included the debug output from my first trial runs:

Both are safe it's related with what you're trying to do simulate the whole process (download then seed) or appear as a seeder.

At faking no one see your files (there is no ones actually xD), even when you real cross-seed you can partial seed and the tracker won't see the files that doesn't fit that in torrent file so how can the tracker know the altered files ?!

It can't see which file(s) you are missing, but gagaolala has a point. With such a .txt included in the torrent, there's no way to start at 100% (more like 99.9999%) and send left=0, unless you know the file's exact contents and create it yourself.

What could be done is grabbing its exact size from the torrent metadata, sending that as the "left" value, then fake downloading that tiny amount.

Being able to specify an exact "left" value by hand would be a good feature for RM+, if you haven't implemented it already!

That's sound like a good feature indeed but, what can we do with the mathematical fixing problem ?
when converting from the KB unit (we can't get the exact byte value) to bytes it may vary from the original file size.
