it would be dangerous tho... i know some trackers ban on flashing instantly if its above X amount and waffles is good and all but doing it on too many torrents seems dangerous too..

The248 didn't even want to add either method in the first place, as he didn't consider them safe. If he were still here, I highly doubt he would implement the ability to automate them on multiple torrents at the same time.

We have no idea. He hasn't visited in three years nor answered e-mails. Furthermore, the source code for the (obfuscated) executable is not available, so none of us can continue development.

That's a generic .NET error message. If you send me a copy of the .torrent file, I'll be able to get more details.

Which trackers, exactly? And have you tried using a different client emulation?

If that doesn't work, please compress the offending .torrents in a ZIP archive, upload it to https://tmp.ninja/ and send me the link via PM. I'll have a closer look.

And not showing the torrent in "active torrent list". So, I couldn't be sure It was actually seeding or not.

Point to be noted, uploading is working. It's adding upload credit to the tracker. So, Should I use mratio in this tracker? Or maybe it's tracker's bug?
I was under the impression this was caused by gzip compression in tracker replies, and the redirect.py file I gave you (when you helped me debug the SSPI error) should have also fixed that. Please send me a copy of the .torrent file(s) which have this problem through tmp.ninja and I'll look into it.
@anon Did this three members send you sample torrents before? If so, any progress or known info on this issue? like reason or how to resolve? Do you still need sample torrents or captured packets? I encountered it too.

They all did, and testing suggested this bug was caused by gzip compression, which I solved in mRatio Fixer v5 by decompressing responses and rewriting the Content-Length before passing them to mRatio. If you have .torrent files that prove this wrong as of v6, I am definitely interested on having them.

Not ever, but that CLSID belongs to the "open/save file" dialog. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...d-3a5fecdf20ae mentions this same error (also on .NET programs) and offers some possible solutions.

    Is SOCKS5 supported in mRatio?

    Hi,

As the title says, is SOCKS5 proxy supported in mRatio?
I am trying to use my VPN provider proxy server which is a SOCKS5 on port 1080 but I'm getting connection timeout each time I start a torrent file.

Yes, but unfortunately proxy support is very broken.
    • HTTP doesn't work at all; the request will be crafted as if addressed to the proxy, but sent directly to the destination instead.
    • SOCKS works, but the destination port is forced to be 80 for HTTP and 699 for HTTPS trackers, which means the latter won't work and neither will any tracker that uses a custom port.

You can work around these issues by relying on a third-party program like Proxifier, SocksCap or proxychains-windows instead. If you're using mRatio Fixer (see https://www.sb-innovation.de/showthread.php?t=34407), the situation is even more complicated: you'll have to set everything up as described on the thread, with 127.0.0.1:8080 in mRatio, and then use one of the aforementioned programs on the mitmproxy process instead (which is where you'll ultimately configure your VPN provider's proxy).

In terms of handling torrents deleted by tracker, eg after the tracker returns message "unregistered torrent", does the real client continue to send tracker messages at intervals? and does mR handle this situation the same way as the real client?

    [2020/12/17 18:41:53] Receiving data ...
[2020/12/17 18:41:55] The tracker returned the following failure reason: unregistered torrent
    [2020/12/17 18:41:55] Now downloading ...
    [2020/12/17 18:41:55] Torrent settings saved.
