I am 99% sure that there is no difference between the "Pro" version and the free one as far as client identification is concerned, but I'd appreciate it if you could upload it somewhere and PM me the link.

Evading hit & run detection on some trackers and preventing torrents from appearing on snatchlists that only store completed torrents, which may be situationally useful.

I've seen some trackers that monitor your hit and run status after you download 95% of the torrent.

it's indeed feasible although i haven't seen one yet.

tbh in a newbie's opinion, cheating truly have not less feature vectors can be traced, like unusual number of STOP announce in highly reputed waffles method, or even using some honeypot torrent for entrapment. the point is whether tracker willing to cost these lots of resources to catch us who account for only 1%. i guess Cabal trackers like HDB would be more willing b/c of higher returns? idk.

IPT does this with any percentage! Using "no report, 0% done" on Bigly works wonders at bypassing it, and I do it just to get back at this stupid system, even though it prevents my real upload from being counted

In principle, all of the major mods and tools should keep working, because they have no known (major) bugs. In practice, very few programs of any kind "continue to work forever". Technology evolves and adapts continuously. Tomorrow, a major bug that makes some mod/tool detectable could be found. Or private trackers could switch to TLS 1.3 or UDP trackers only, which very few of them support. Or there could be some addition to the BitTorrent protocol that becomes popular enough to the point any client that doesn't have it (or can't emulate it) is blacklisted.

mRatio is a partial example of this, unfortunately. It only supports TLS version 1.0, which is no longer considered secure, and this makes it unusable on many HTTPS trackers.

This makes sense. I had no idea that the trackers can switch the security, making the program detectable.

So I'm guessing that mRatio is not good for the top trackers. I'm trying to wait until I have enough information about these programs before I attempt to use them.

If you use Windows XP, install the patch linked to in the first post (which mentions your error message word-by-word), it may fix the problem.

If you use Windows Vista or above, then you have yourself a fine example of this:

I'm using Windows 10, and all the other trackers are good. It's only at this point that EOF or 0 bytes received from the transport stream starts.
