You have to copy the client file to the mRatioClients folder and then open mratio. After that you will be able to emulate that client.

That error shows up when a torrent only has UDP announce URLs, or none at all. Are you trying to add a public torrent?

I started my old mRatio client to delete the torrents. I had one torrent which was supposed to be stopped by default. It was stopped, I deleted the torrent and closed off mRatio. Later I found that my acccount on TheShow has been banned. I haven't heard back from their staff in IRC but just wanted to point out that this happened

@haku Can you be more specific on what caused this ban? Change of client, hit and run, high speed etc.

I gave all the information I had.
I opened mRatio, removed the torrent and then after hours I was banned.
Before that I was uploading at 30KB/s for until i reached 600Mb on an active torrent.
The account was fine and had no issues until I opened it again to clear it

The bz trackers are good at catching cheaters. Most of the new torrents are active only for a few mins/hours at the start. You were cheating on the torrent when there was no activity on it and got caught. You will probably get banned on the other bz trackers like theplace, thegeeks..etc

1) If the site provides you with an option to see the list of active members on the torrent, did you happen to check whether there were any mods on them?
2) Did you happen to use the option "stop cheating after x number of leechers"? I remember forgetting to use this option once, and I got banned on SCC, because:
A) I was reporting a speed of 500kb/s upload when the swam speed was slower.
B) After the leechers were done, I was still faking. I assumed a couple of users to be leechers, but in fact, they were partial seeders.
C) Lastly, due to pre-time, I was missing out on many new torrents, so I was faking on torrents which were relatively new.

You have to monitor the speeds/leechers/mods altogether. You probably left the torrent running at 30kb/s too long, and the leechers ran out, and some moderator came by and noticed your activity.

My solution on Vuze, Using the filter "swamp average speed" it can monitor and fake on torrents. Though that is not enough, you need to look at the peers time to time to check whether the leechers are downloading or have finished downloading (partial seeding). Some sites allow you to look at the seeds/peers list, which is quite beneficial since it is updated after every announce (every client active with the torrent) and you can have a look at the swamp activity (through an interface).

If you would have checked the tracker status (I don't know whether mRatio has it), you would have noticed "torrent not registered," "unregistered passkey" or something which indicates an error with the tracker.

Quick question, what makes you think the ban was related to you opening mRatio to delete the torrent? If it was stopped, nothing should have been sent to the tracker... well, I don't know about that option to show tracker favicons, I've never used it.

Also, very nice treatment from the staff member, 10/10 would buy again.
