Looking For Best Password Manager

Hey guys, Since more than one time someone try to log in to my most of trackers, fortunately nothing bad happen. My all account are safe. But I decide to change my password manager. I am currently using AI Roboform latest cracked version, so I slightly doubt that someone hacked my roboform database, may be or not, I have my mind to change and go for Lastpaas or KeePass. What do you say guys. If you have any other suggestion let me know it.

I am using last past from last year,It is very reliable. No Problems. Detects most password changes and updates the database automatically. Manual changes to the database are easy.

I have used all of those... I've been using roboform for a past 4 years now... Are you sure that someone hacked your roboform database ?

For me keepass besides keyfox (there is a version for chrome also)

KeePass 1.x does the job for me. Been using it for six years now.

I use Last Pass. Everything automatically syncs across my browsers and computers. No need to install software.

Did you try 1password?? On iPhone and iPad is a decent solution

One cannot simply go wrong with Last Pass. Has extensions for all browsers so basically you don't even need to type second time ever in any browser. No need maintain a DB as its already stored in their servers, so one can be synced anytime anywhere with all their passwords in any browser.

There is so much potential security holes with it that I don't know where to begin...

Potential vulnerabilities all along the way from being sent from your local PC to remote server... Issue of trust to all chain of people in charge of that particular server. Issue of encryption setup of server and whole system (proper crypto is not trivial to do). Issue of centralized target for anyone who could be interested in your password (and that could be VERY varied group of individuals and organizations, among which some have substantial resources like AD companies, online market researchers, government agencies, etc).

I know 'cloud' is buzzword of the year, and it surely makes certain things like syncing and backup quite convenient but I would never use it as a personal password manager.

Keepass does the job for me, but to each his own. :-)

Yep, no reason to have to find a crack for the paid one. keepass is the best one around. I use v2.xx. It has all my pw. I would never remember them other wise. I use a diffrent PW for every site and the most complex you can per site lol

And hopefully you backup the encrypted database somewhere... Would be quite horrific if all passwords dissapeared into oblivion due unexpected HDD failure.
