You guys do know you can emulate old games on your systems to play them. I have been playing mario ,contra and a few other old games on my system recently.

From what I know you can emulate ps2 games too though I have never tried it

Yes I know, and yes you can emulate ps2 too. It's just waaaaay cooler to do it on the actual console. I was thinking of getting a USB converter to hook up a ps2 controller instead.

I've been playing contra and mario as well, with my friends!
I actually couldn't believe how many lives I've lost at early stages. When I was a kid I knew that game like back of my hand

Older games are way better than these new ones!

I think most new games are too focused on graphics. It's not a bad thing, but there just isn't the same content amount as there used to be.

Look, water wets, fire burns, and when people mention graphics vs. gameplay, anon posts screenshots such as the following.

"I just remembered something that happened a long time ago."

I'm pretty sure that game has both little content as little graphics work.
I'm talking Final Fantasy and Zelda!

Wronger than wrong It has so so much stuff to do, replay value, and detail and thought put into everything. Version 1.1.1 was the latest for a decade, yet people still didn't manage to find all its secrets and quirks. And now that development is active again...

With that said, Final Fantasy I and VII are also great and all-time classics sharing those same qualities. I never played a Zelda game, though *ducks for cover from thrown blunt objects*

My favorite remains Final Fantasy VIII.
As for Zelda: Try Wind Waker. You can still find ps2 versions which run in an emulator

Personally I don't like Final Fantasy games, I can't stand turn based gameplay.

As for Zelda, read #19 it never left Nintendo.

You can turn off the turn based style in most FF games.

As for Zelda: Sorry. My bad, I meant NGC. (Dolphin) Not sure why I was thinking PS2, perhaps since I've been tinkering with the controllers.
