Hey guys what are the best trackers these days ?
I only use FL.ro and rutracker but I want to hear what trackers you guys appreaciate.
I read somewhere on 4chan that ptp is a pretty big deal these days.
*pic related,it's me forgetting about the the what.cd love we get,I actually wanted to take that interview once without getting in through trading.

My main tracker is TorrentLeech!

I also use TB for leeching and a few others, but mostly I use TL!

TB ? Sorry for asking but new tracker acronyms are hard for me.
So no special trackers for music and movie needs ?
Say you want a foreign old movie and you can't find it on TL or Google.What do you do then ?

For movie series, I would recommend BroadcasTheNet (BTN) as it is easy to get in and is ratio-less.
Waffles.fm is still very good and you'll most if not all of your music needs.

Now IF that particular movie is very old (say 1960 for instance) you'll find it at karagarga (kg) or iloveclassics. Both are easy to get but KG is the best though.

TB is TorrentBytes. There's also TS (Torrent Shack)

I don't use special trackers for music. For movies TorrentLeech is just fine, and in case I can't find it I use torrent search software, BitChe!

I use showdates.me for tv shows (hey sbf,that's not a tracker,wth) which has a nice integration with torrentz.com search engine.BTN seems useless to me.
For music I use soulseek(started using it today actually) and rutracker.
I guess I'm going to get a kg account.

Thanks for the offer mate,but I think I've changed my mind.I've looked at a few reviews and people are complaining it's very hard to see.I don't think I'll be able to keep a good ratio without cheating.

Then forget about What.cd, Waffles or that popcorn site if that's your intention. They're for those with either high speeds or enough time to upload and micromanage torrents.

If you have a 0-day like FL, TL or IPT and RuTracker, you're pretty much set. TL would be better for new and old things alike, since their retention is good. For anything else, there's public trackers or Warez-BB.

There's this local forum where people translate trackers' names word by word when trading or asking for invites. That way everyone knows what they're talking about, but for tracker spies it's much harder to decypher. These translations tend to be similarly amusing

Torrentday --> 480p Movies & Episodes
Torrentleech ---> Stopped using it since last year (Mundane Tracker , i used to like it back in 2006/2007)
Iptorrents ---> Contain most of the stuff i need ( Books/Software/Tutorials )
Zamunda ---> (Love that tracker , Don't know why actually ... Huge Database of torrents)
Rutracker ---> hard to translate from russian to EN , Huge Database also
Music-vid --- > Afraid to download because they ban a lot of members , Rare & HQ MV/Concerts .
Speed.Cd ---> Got 480p Movies & Episodes(that actually helps when i'm using a capped connection

)
BTN --> Got Some Rare Tv-Shows

TL was the first I was ever invited to, within the same timeframe you mention, and the very first I cheated on. As a newcomer to private tracker stuff, I was amazed by the possibilities - lots and lots of torrents, all of them well-seeded. I would have kept my account if they hadn't changed their design.

Zamunda is great, and they also have no ratio requirements. Unfortunately only those from a select few countries can use it. I had to let my account die, since I wasn't willing to juggle with proxies.

Any other trackers like it ? I also had an account there before they banned most countries.
