lets include some missing minuses in the equation then:

... - director (directed nothing noteworthy since, say, 1999) - actors (2nd rate, tv background) - main character (the wrong hercules chosen in terms of motivation/goals/character) - plot (the usual suspects, weak scriptwriters) - ... = (insert some pejorative here) movie

btw. as i recall, the most satisfactory/enjoyable 'hercules' role was done by brian thompson in the average tv-movie: Jason and the Argonauts (2000)

and now for something different, a quiz question for anyone reading:

i'm actually quite looking forward to this. since i saw the old hercules TV show with kevin sorbo as a kid i've been a big hercules fan

Man, it looks too much like 300.
And with the trend of "shitty story + tons of CG" movies nowadays, this is somehow underwhelming film, especially for a "blockbuster" kind.
