    uTorrent Alternatives

    Hi @all,

I was looking for an uT alternative, I found out Deluge, qBitTorrent and Trixati.

Do you know the differences ? And which one you recommend ? Trixati seems cool

If you want an alternative because you're tired of all the garbage in uTorrent 3.x.x, I suggest downgrading to 1.8.5. That's what I did.

tixati is banned on most of the private trackers.
try deluge, it's aggressive with the connections, very good for seeding.

I don't care about private trackers, but the reason of the ban ?

Nothing to say about qBitTorrent ?

qBitTorrent is great and it's so much like uTorrent.

you have one of this choices :
    - Downgrading to an older version of uT
    - using of of this clients qBT or Deluge (try both of them then decide)

I'm surprised that no one suggested Trixati that seems very good instead...

I guess my first client was BitComet. You should include it in your list.

because it almost blacklisted in every private tracker which most of us use :) .

But I don't care about trackers, I don't use them anymore.

I was interested in more technically differences between those clients (even BitComet could be interesting...).

I tried to see many comparision websites even wikipedia but they seems not updated, the only difference that I seen is that Tixati is not open source. The feature supports seems almost the same, maybe someone don't support uTP but I don't know what is it :|

Tixati is not good because it doesn't measure the overhead, qBT miss and autoupdating fur ipfilter and Deluge interface suxxx...

    :(
