I've builded this emule mod with the most possible security features.
If you use it you never publish any files in the ed2k and kad network.
Your queue is empty all the time while the program is running.
Because of this changes it isn't a very fast mod but for me is safety the
most important thing in that days. If i 've time the next weeks i'll continue
this project that you can change the features like you want in the
preferences and perhaps i'll try to create some hacks for better speed results.
So i hope you like our mod and happy leeching to all of you... :)

Fuer mich ist die Sicherheit auch #1.

Deswegen die Frage: wie sieht es da aus, wenn man die mods eMule 0.48a SBI Leecher v1.3 und eMule 0.47c - Flux 07/06 vergleicht? Kann man da was sagen?

Bisher habe ich den letzten Mod (mit Option NoShare) verwendet.

Bei mir läuft der SBI Leecher besser wie der Flux aber das kann auch an der neueren eMule Version liegen oder weil vom flux manche Hacks erkannt werden und der Client somit oft gebannt wird. Der Mod von oben ist halt so eingestellt wie der Flux mit höchster Sicherheitsstuffe nur ohne die Hacks. Aber bei eMule war es ja eh immer so das die Software bei jedem etwas anders läuft und somit muss man es fast selber versuchen welche Version für einem am besten läuft. Auf meinem System ist z.B. der Flux noch nie wirklich gut gelaufen deshalb hab ich bis jetzt auch immer die KOT Mods verwendet.

Souds pretty well and runs really good, especially on some popular files. I believe to add some fakes/hacks would be great.

wenn ich sins 0.6 und deinen mod testen will, welcher ist den anfängerfreundlicher?
das letzte mal war ich 2002 mit emule unterwegs.

Ich denke meiner weil du bei mir eigentlich nichts einstellen must weil alles wichtige gleich fix gecodet ist. Aber die Sins Einstellungen sind eigentlich auch recht übersichtlich, da solltest du normal auch keine Probleme haben die entsprechenden Einstellungen zu finden. Der Mod hier ist halt auf volle Sicherheit ausgelegt und dafür ist er aber nicht der schnellste. Beim Sins kannst du halt selber auswählen wie weit du deine Files verstecken willst und ob du Upload haben willst oder nicht. Aber komplett alle Files aus dem Share nehmen geht dort nicht aber dafür wird der Speed bestimmt besser sein.

About hacks/cheats: two no upload mods that work really well for me are the Fuck Seba14 v1.4 and the eLeCteC LiTe-0WN3D v1.3. Both mods list a lot of hacks in the changelogs. I do not know if the hacks in these mods are responsible or if it were the files I downloaded while using them that made them work so well, though.

Your mod works really good so far as well.

well this is a typical emule myth does the current speed depends from the mod or is it a coincidence that a user gives a lot of upload. really hard to say it can depend from the file or from the mod

If we're talking about no-upload mods, I suppose the speed of downoad rather depends of uploaders. Look at the files shared by guys from China, they always go very fast (look at my screenshot a few posts above), independent of mod that you use, beacase they are powershared. Some hacks/fakes can give you only a little bit faster download on less popular and rare files.
