Dramatic footage: Cargo Boeing 747 crashes at Bagram Airfield

A civilian cargo aircraft crashed at Bagram Air Field near the Afghan capital Kabul on Monday, killing all seven people aboard. The plane came down shortly after take-off and crashed within the boundaries of the US-run airbase, a NATO spokesperson at the base said. The Taliban quickly claimed responsibility for the crash, but the coalition dismissed the claim as "false" in a statement to AP. The cause of the crash is being investigated by emergency crews, but no sign of insurgent activity in the area was spotted at the time, the statement added.

That was unreal. I was watching the bus to see if the plane would hit the bus.
And then I continued to read the quote that the Taliban had submitted to being responsible. I wonder that if that was actually
true and correct, I sure didn't see the plane explode prior to hit hitting the ground. Unless the plane had it's cockpit door
broken into by someone and then forced a crash of it. And if that is/was true, that would really be unfortunate.
And what is meant by 'insugent activity'? I know they are talking about 'terrorists'. But are they talking about people with bazookas? People with video cams taking
Friday-night-at-the-movies shots for thier comrades when they say they didn't notice any insurgent activity? I guess that's my guess.
Even still, it was difficult to tell what airline the plane was from.
But that's just my own thoughts.

EDIT: In all likely hood it was probably just a technical/ mechanical fault and might have caused a crash. Nevertheless, quite unfortunated re: loss of lives though.
