"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a "Victor's Tour' of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) - a competition that could change Panem forever.

After actually reading the books the movies, although pretty good, seem pretty bad to me.

Yup. They didn't show a lot of stuff that would make people understand why all that hype. Also, the book presents the story from Catnis's perspective so you only know what she knows. In the movie you know too much.

Watched today in bluray. Not sure why this movie has so high score on imdb. I didn't find it all that good. MAybe they improve with last two films.

My score would be 7 but only cuz of Jennifer, she's lovely

I liked the first one, but this one was just meh. Felt like something inbetween to link the first one with the upcoming one... I hate that!

Did anyone read the books? I'm wondering if books are boring as well? Some say there's a lot more action. And that's basically why I watch these movies (besides Jennifer ofc )!
