    Timo's Rescue CD Set {Build Your Bootable Rescue CD}

    Don't know for sure if anyone here @ sb-i who's in the Linux community, but I just recently found this software from a software author.

    This set is my approach for an easy way to generate a rescue system on a bootable cd, which can easily be adapted to the own needs. The project evolves more and more into a "debian on cd" project, so it's not only possible to use the system as a rescuecd, it is also possible to install a whole debian system on cd.
    When/if going to the link posted below, pay particular attention to this:

    Known problems:

    The following problem is solved in recent kernel versions, at least in 2.4.17.
    The memory of the initrd can't be freed although it can be unmounted without problems but the following error message:
    # umount /initrd
    VFS: Busy inodes after umount. Self-destruct in 5 seconds. Have a nice day.
    # blockdev --flushbufs /dev/ram0
    BLKFLSBUF: Device or resource busy

    Speaking for myself only, I decided to downloaded the toolkit. There are other options such as older versions and an .iso format to download as well.

    Enjoy.
