I looked for "Ace Archiver 1.2b" on eMule but couldn't find anything, maybe it is an alternate name for version 1.2b of the DOS-based ACE program.

Yes, and I recommend you get yours from a copy of Serials 2000 just to maintain that retro feel.

The latest version of ImgBurn contains some form of malware. Some users say that the first time version 2.5.8.0 was released, the installer was clean. Later on it got bundled.
Can anyone confirm this? Is there a 2.5.8.0 installer that is not bundled with anything?

I've got an installer for version 2.5.8.0 downloaded on March 2014, with SHA1 hash 5ca96a0c243390c378dee1a629684ea261e2cfc4 (update: note how it doesn't match the hash given in their download site).

The installer looks up api.opencandy.com when opened, but doesn't seem to connect there or anywhere else.
