Choosing best 3D TV

I know few will say google it,but the market today is flooded with 3D tv's from different brands.I am asking to someone who actually owns a 3D tv and how is it working?.Mostlikely,i will be playing full 3D iso's on my TV connected through ixtremer silver.I will also be playing my xbox 360

We have a Sony 40" HDTV with 3D (KDL40HX750), honestly find we don't use the 3D feature as much as initally thought, more of a gimmick than anything else and doesn't beat the theatre. Also only got one pair of glasses so that could be partially a reason too.

I would recommend prioritizing looking at larger screen size, colour gamut, and a higher pixel response over 3D capability. Friend has a Panasonic plasma and the colours are amazing!
