hey guys, haven't logged in for a couple of weeks (theplace.bz) and can't seem to recover the pass - i was at first urged by the login page - earlier everything worked with a cookie. and there you have it - can't login and recover anything, although.. @blah-blah was mailed to your box.@ i did't get anything. and the last thing i tried - opened a torrent but it turned red - @please sign up@ it seems like the account was banned because of cheating (well, i tried a custom software a couple of times), but everything worked fine until last month i guess. other trackers at least indicate that the account was banned, but not in the case of theplace. anybody had problems logging in lately? i mean they changed the software or what? i don't want to ask for support as i think this is the only reason for getting banned - and they won't unban, right?

Maby they ban you becouse of inactivity?

You got nothing to lose by talking to the staff. If you were disabled, what can they do? Disable the same account twice?
It may be caused by their software. Maybe they won't check.
2 weeks is not enough time to get you disabled.

i can, but they can also trace my ip adresses\associated info to block me from applying once more, and hence ban me at once next time. well, not a good situation, huh. and this is what i lose. 2 or 3 years ago i tried to make additional account on what.cd after getting banned and they disabled this account...ehhh a couple of hours later ) i was supersurprised by this. and if i start as a newbie here, maybe that wouldn't be so much scrutinized. what do you think about this?

Have you asked the staff about what happened? Maybe you'll get your account back. Also don't try to create another account if you can't change your IP.
