    let's say I add 30 torrent files with DL speed 30Kb/s showing as 0% leecher. After a while i want to increase speed to 300KB/s in each torrent, so i select them all, go to the options tab below, and update the value on the Upload Speed Box. However, the speed doesn't change

    I tried then changing only one torrent, but the same thing happened. I Also tested with a combination of changing the speed while the torrent was stopped, while it was running, after and before restarting mR. The only way i could change the speed was by selecting the predefined DL values from the right mouse click menu (you have to keep selecting increasing speeds) or in the advance tab, choosing to change to the speed i wanted after a certain time ( but I'd have to do it for each torrent). That, or removing the torrents and adding them again, with the new speed
    Am I missing something?

    I was doing it from the tabs at the bottom: Details, Options, Log
    On the Options tab, there's a book to change DL speeds, but I couldn't see any Apply button

    Seems the box was partially covered at the bottom, hiding the button lol

    I see... then I guess it's beyond the understanding of newbies as I. Thanks for the warning, I wont mess with it anymore.

    NO. Never do that. Not even different torrents from the same tracker, unless you use memory reader.
    Download it on uTorrent. Remove it from uTorrent. Add it on mRatio on seeding mode (100% complete), fake what you need.

    Careful, never run the same torrent on both mRatio and uTorrent at the same time.
    Now that... THAT made me sweat cold. I ALWAYS did that. Always. On TL. Seeding on both RM and uT, tons of torrents of the same tracker(TL) and I didn't use memory reader. At least they weren't the same torrent.
    God... how the hell I didn't get a ban.

    Thank you SO MUCH for this warning. I'm guessing there is plenty to learn.

    Thank you for the reply.

    And thank you very much for developing this wonderful tool.

    I also forgot once to stop the torrent on my client before starting it on mR. That happened on AHD. But i was using mreader, so the peer-ids and keys i was reporting to the tracker were all the same.

    At most, it would seem i was hitting the update tracker more than usual. The problem is, when you stop one of the instances and the other keeps announcing, there'll be an event=start missing. But i guess most trackers won't monitor that.

    Also, even if you use two keys and 2 peer-ids, it'll just appear you were using 2 clients. You can you use one for leeching and another for seeding, but you forgot to stop the torrent on the leeching client won't work, because it would appear you were using the same port for both clients

    Nevertheless, it's a good idea to use mreader, because although most trackers can't bust the fake peer-ids and keys from mR, there may be some that do

    Seems quite logical to me.

    Running the same torrent in two clients looks ends up in the double amount of announces, which could also be possible by manual updates.
    Now, if you stop the torrent in one client, &event=stopped is sent while the torrent is still announcing through the seconds client.
    Basically like this:

    Code:
    Announce --> Announce --> &event=stopped --> Announce
    Where normally it looks like this:

    Code:
    Announce --> Announce --> &event=stopped --> &event=started --> Announce
    Therefore, the tracker is missing an &event=started.

    Yeah, I thought that too, but wanted to make sure I got him right since there was a little confusion in another thread.

    Of course that will happen, the solution is not forgetting to stop the torrent in your client before you start it in mRatio or any other tool I'd say.
