A capture, in this context, basically is a copy of the announce the client sends.

To get one, you have to install the real client, run a network sniffer, announce a few times and you're done.
On Windows, a good tool for this is smsniff.

ok so i download wireshark for mac :)

please tell me if i am doing it right
1)quitting ALL my apps
2)open wireshark
3)start capture
4)open Utorrent
5)wait 1 min+-
6)stop capture

now i have something like 1000 how do i filter them to what i need? by my utorrent port (source or destination?)?
if yes so i have like 200 each so how to filter them?

please help and i will give you whatever version or app on the mac!

The time doesn't matter.
But it's better to do multiple announces with different torrents.

Moved from RatioMaster (few years) to mRatio just a week ago and seriously cannot love it enough! This program is just too great! Kudos to the author The248 and everybody else which made this program, this forum and this support, happen.


Sometimes, after removing a finished torrent from mRatio, the cpu usage spikes to around 40% constant which is strange, but a reboot fixes it until you delete another torrent. Small problem, not a big deal

I can't use two client builds of utorrent at a time with mratio?
I can select client emulation fine but when click on the client data button then try to click the drop-down arrow, it doesn't work. Only one client data is emulated at a time. Is this the same for everyone else?
Then is there a way to use two builds at a time? I want to use two different builds for 2 different trackers.

It's not weird if you can get the file from somewhere else. If it's a scene release you can do that without problems. But if it's someone from a certain community provided (so it's impossible you have the same file) I'd be careful with it.
