    Historyblock
For not letting selected sites show in FFs history

    RequestPolicy
An important security addon for not letting sites crossload stuff from 3rd party sites without your approval.
I think this is a must have.

    DownThemAll
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...n/downthemall/
It's a download manager/accelerator build in firefox. No need for third party software.

    Movable Firefox Button
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...irefox-button/
Move Firefox Button to anywhere you want, and make it also available in Full Screen mode, or when Menu Bar is showing.

    Omnibar
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/omnibar/
Integrates location bar and search bar into one. Shows search and url suggestions.

    SmoothWheel
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...n/smoothwheel/
Scrolls the page smoothly when scrolling the mouse wheel (or keyboard arrows if enabled).

    Stratiform
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...on/stratiform/
Your Customization Pal Who's Fun To Be With.

    Tabs always in TitleBar
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...s-in-titlebar/
Always place tabs in the titlebar. ( You can get this in the latest version of stratiform too)

    and

As I've see a lot of you who don't know about this despite some users suggesting it:

    Nightly Tester Tools
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...-tester-tools/
It has addon compatibility override so you can install addons that are not compatible with your version of Firefox.
After you install it open the menu and go to Nightly Tester Tools and select Force addon compatibility.

    Adblock Lite
Only to remove a few annoyances in the places I frequent, because I have noticed NoScript and Ghostery deal with 99% of ads. I have no problem with non-intrusive advertisements that don't set tracking cookies and such, but most aren't like that.

    CacheViewer Fx6
To view, save and delete the contents of Firefox's cache in an intuitive manner.

    CS Lite Mod
Makes cookie management, whitelisting and filtering easier.

    Download Manager Tweak
Have the download manager open in a tab, just like in Opera.

    Easy YouTube Downloader
Adds a "Download" button below YouTube videos that does exactly what it says. Supports all formats.

    Ghostery
Blocks third-party tracking elements in Web sites. You'd be surprised to see how many some of them have. Can also block cookies, but it's better to turn that off when you're using another addon for the task.

    Google Privacy
Removes Google's (and other engines') redirector links that plague so many sites.

    Grooveshark Premium!
Removes Grooveshark's ads and lets you use the premium skins. I wish it also enabled cross-fade.

    keyconfig
Shortcut customizer. I used it to change some to what they were in Opera, and remove a ton of hotkeys I never use.

    LastTab
Customizable Ctrl+Tab switching. I used it to make the list look like in Opera (see where this is going?).

    Load Tabs Progressively
Prevents too many tabs from overloading your computer and connection by opening up to X of them at the same time. X=1 here, so they load one by one.

    Menu Editor
Edit, sort and remove items from Firefox's menus. Used to sort all addons' options under Tools in a single "block", and hide features I don't use.

    Mozilla Archive Format
Allow saving and loading archived Web pages in MHT format.

    NoScript
JavaScript whitelist most of you probably know about at this point. Probably one of the must-have extensions.

    Open link in...
To add open here/open in foreground/open in background to the context menu.

    Redirect Cleaner
Removes crap from links like http://example.com/external.php?u=http://example.net/ making them point directly to the other site.

    RefControl
To edit HTTP referrer permissions on a per-site basis.

    Save File To
Add options to the context menu and Save File dialog to download files directly to specified folders. A feature I really liked in Opera.

    Space Next
Goes to the next page of a site when you're at the bottom of the page and press the spacebar.

    SwiftTabs
Single-key shortcuts to go to the previous or next tab.

    Tabloc
Locks tabs to prevent them from being closed accidentally.

    TabSubmit
Allows you to submit forms in a separate tab. Great time-saver.

    UAControl
Just like RefControl, but for the User-Agent string.

    Undo Closed Tabs Button
This is just like Opera's trash can, lets you reopen up to 99 tabs you've closed.
